It's the Friday before Halloween, which means it's time to start with the annoying Christmas carols, and buying gifts for Christmas. Might I suggest some of these gifts available from Oxfam New Zealand that benefit people in Africa:
Goats:

"What do you give the person who has everything? How about a couple of goats? They are much more interesting than a toaster and will also help a family in Niger escape poverty by providing milk and breeding more goats to sell at market."
A Donkey:
https://www.oxfamunwrapped.org.nz/gifts/christmas-donkey
"What better way to say ‘Muletide Greetings!’ to your best clients this festive season than a humble Christmas Donkey?
This little dynamo of a donkey plays a crucial role for families affected by disaster. No burden is too big to bear for this hoofed hero: navigating tricky terrain to get to areas vehicles can’t access, they carry large bundles of life-saving supplies for people who have to travel far for food and water."
The @Deleted User01 special:
https://www.oxfamunwrapped.org.nz/gifts/goat-family
"What's better than one goat? Two goats? How about a family of goats! When a goat is presented to a person living in Niger, they know that it can breed to create more goats, provide manure for growing food and can even be sold to pay for school fees or tools. Plenty to smile about."
https://www.oxfamunwrapped.org.nz/gifts/food-hamper
"Sure, you can say thank you to someone with a a hamper -- that curried chutney would look amazing in their pantry for the next two years. Or, you could get a hamper that will help poor farmers get a fair price for the food they grow and consume. Right now. You know what to do."
