Yerba Mate

Slow Native

All the way!!
South American markets specifically would be your best bet for a variety. Although harder to find than Mexican markets here in Texas at least

I found a grocery store that sells this tea from Cruz De Malta for just under two dollars:

Is there something wrong with this tea, that a huge bag is so cheap? I have been buying 13 dollar bags smaller than this from Whole Foods.

I read that insects dont eat Yerba Mate, so that no pesticides are used anyway, so is the claim about being Organic merely part of a scheme from Whole Foods to overcharge for something that is so cheap.

I know that Estacionmente Natural means "natural parking", reffering to the way it is dried or parked in sheds. Is it cheap because it has stems? The hispanic isle of my grocery store has this stuff for under 2 bucks USD.

Should be fine sounds like you were getting ripped off by whole foods. I bought two pound bags of the net for under 10 bucks.
If you don't mind buying off the net maybe try that. There's a ton of selection for cheap. Here are some sites.
