Pleased with liver enzyme results

i was nervous about getting liver enzymes tested as I’ve recently used kava to the point of puking a few times. I was pleased to see The following:

AST = 29 (range 0-40 IU/L)
ALT = 24 (range 0-44 IU/L)

I’ve had elevated enzymes in the past when I was drinking alcohol regularly. The neat part is this test was taken the morning after a night of heavy use of KWK Loa Waka.

I should also note my triglycerides are high, but I don’t think it’s related to Kava. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis 2 years ago (long before Kava). And I just noticed my TSH is elevated at 5.42, so It appears I may be becoming hypothyroid (typical wih Hashimoto’s). I think impaired thyroid function is to blame. Waiting for an appointment with my endocrinologist next month.
