Kava recommendation?

Seems most of the Kava I have stuck with are more DHM types - what I am asking (since I am a musician) - do you guys have any recommendation for a good Kava to stimulate creativity?

In the past, a couple of beers really did the trick for me when I would sit down to jam. Anything more though, and I would get sloppy. When I drink Kava and play, it's more sloppy and lazy (probably because of the DHM) - but I play evenings, and being an insomniac anyway, don't really want something that will get me all cranked up before bedtime.

Any suggestions?

Paradise Extract. Seriously, it's the only one I've been able to precisely control the amount and about a teaspoon full will be enough to put you in a nicely euphoric, and creative state of mind.
