Freezing your kava brew, loss of potency?

I hope this question hasn't been asked somewhere else already!

I am close to ordering and can't decide between instant and traditional grind. Instant because it is so easy to use.

I am thinking about making huge amounts of traditional grind kava at once, and put it in the freezer in small amounts so I have always some Kava ready when I would need it. I would make a strong brew, where I can add some warm water to the frozen kava, and there you go, "fast version".

I wonder if freezing is destroying some kavalactones? Years ago I did it a couple of times, and I had the feeling it lost its potency.

But this could be a placebo effect, because I made the brew day 1, drank from the fresh brew... froze some 0,5ml bottles of it, And drank them the next days. To me the reverse tolerance mostly doesn't seem to be true. So of course kava hits the strongest at day 1 after a break (normally, but due to the mysterious kava effects sometimes it is not like that) and the following days the effect becomes less anyway.
