Hangover Cure

I guess this can be a Medicinal use.....

I went to the Blackhawks game last night, drank a few too many, had to wake up for work this morning round 6.  I came into work feeling like poop, so I popped some DS peppermint extract under my tongue and I'm feeling great at work.  I think because I didn't have to drink any Kava (which might have made me puke due to a sour stomach from hangover), but rather use extract helped me out a lot.

If I remember correctly part of the cause of the bad feelings a hangover gives you is dehydration. Given that kava is a diuretic, this is an interesting solution.

I'm with Deleted User. Between alcohol and kava, I'll always choose kava. My liver thanks me.

I think alcohol and kava both have things to offer. You just have to know where your limits are with alcohol. Kava doesn't really have limits.

I have a pretty good hangover today... maybe if I'm still feeling poopy when I get home I'll try out some kava.
