Until now my bank account has been on the fritz so any and all purchases wouldn't go through but I'll have my Kamukua if I have to

Shat :rolleyes: I realized my post might've made it seem like I've already tried this kava which puts an extra nail in the coffin that is my deepening sorrow. :cry:

Hahaha let us hope he makes a review and updates us on just how much this kava slaps a kavasseur around. :LOL:

@shakas I'm not good at noticing what other strains it resembles shakas but I think it's up there with maha for me. I did 1/3 cup packed in 119 degree water (hottest tap) and about 1 tbsp coconut oil. Let it sit about 1 hour then knead and strain in fijian bag. I think i had about 5 shells worth of grog. Had to save the rest after 2.5 shells. Never done that before. It was more talkative than maha for me. About the same sedation. Seemed to drift towards the sedate relaxation side after few hours + of chattiness. Awesome stuff. I'll try to review when I'm feeling articulate.

Sounds great Blindy :woot:. I'm a fan of the Maha myself so with kamakua sounding similar in effects i'm contemplating doing a review very shortly after the first consumption when it arrives at my doorstep; or on the proceeding trial. The mahakea(micro) I've got right now will be reviewed soon in order give a compare and contrasts of sorts. (y)

This really sounds like the gift that keeps on giving from what you and others are saying....impo, just like Qila leka . ;)

I don't really know how similar it is. Just know I like it as much and maha is def in my top 3 so Kuma is pretty bomb dot com!

Ha! I have the worst time figuring out which effects are more pronounced lately.

Kava = good. That's all.

Took about 1/3 cup maybe 1/4. Mixed with hot water. Let it sit. Strained and kneaded. Looked like I used to much water so in a spell of brilliance I added 2 tbsp of micro maha to the grog.

I don't feel tired but I also don't think I want to move. In fact I haven't in a while. I think I had 3 shells of the superstorm of kava. Soreness gone. Headache gone. Aggravation over buying some land gone.

Good combo!

Soon, very soon. Just a note, when the Papa Kea does come back it will be on a limited supply, it is so good I always sell out very fast.
I will let you all know when I do get these varieties in stock again. Aloha.
